Volunteer Requirements  - changes may occur based on registration count and needs

Londonderry Youth Football & Spirit Association is a non-profit organization that relies on the volunteer assistance of all its members. In a non-profit sports organizations the membership needs to make financial and time contributions in order for the association to succeed. The financial contribution is achieved through registration fees and fundraising. The time contribution is achieved through required volunteer hours.

To improve accountability, we are instituting a $100 DEPOSIT PER FAMILY.

The deposit check, made payable to LYFS will be collected on equipment pick up day.

THIS IS NOT AN OPT OUT POLICY, as the hours calculated for volunteer needs are based on the participation of all families.

Your deposit check will be held by LYFS & not cashed, as long as you meet the two following requirements;

1. Your family must sign up for all required hours by October 15th or the check will be deposited on that date.   If this happens, you will receive a refund check when your volunteer commitment has been fulfilled.

2. Your family must complete all required hours by the end of regular season play, at which time the check will be voided & returned to you.

Please note that checks will be deposited as a family donation to the Wildcats after the Londonderry Cheer Competiton, if a family has not fulfilled their volunteer requirement.  Our goal is not to cash any checks, as we would like everyone to meet their volunteer requirements.

Minimum Volunteer Requirements – these may change based on registration count and needs

10 Volunteer hours for families with one participant.

13 Volunteer hours for families with two or more participants.

The following positions require additional time commitments beyond practices, games, and competitions. To honor these volunteers for their dedication to the kids & LYFS, they will have a reduction in volunteer hour requirements:

With the hard work and dedication of all the associations' members, LYFS will continue to grow and ensure cheer & football is enjoyed by all participants. Thank you in advance for your support.
